This is a selection of private works, many of which are studies
for larger projects. They reflect my continual exploration of
spatial and textured relationship. I am fascinated with an
image or object that arises out of a field of colors and substance.
The idea that the same materials when specifically organized,
can form a complex object. Patterns and systems in nature,
a metaphor for life.

to Renaissance paintings of madonnas and angels.
Innocent in intent this painting ran into conflict
with the Federal Government over depictions of
nudity in public spaces.
